Welcome to Playmates ("Us", "Our", "We", or "Playmates"), including Our website https://playmatesapp.com ("Website") and mobile application ("Mobile Application"), collectively referred to as the "Platform". We are a Nepal-based sports technology company engaged in organising sports and recreational activities, and providing an internet-based booking platform for Our own as well as third-party sports venues, coaching, fitness sessions, tournaments, and events ("Primary Services"). On Our Platform We also provide a community feature that lets Users find playmates, connect with groups, and discover games near their locality ("Secondary Services"). Primary Services and Secondary Services are collectively referred to as "Services".

We care about the privacy of the users of Our Platform ("Users") such as yourself. By accepting Our Terms and Conditions, you are also agreeing to this Privacy Policy.

By using the Services via the Platform, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information as set out in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Platform. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of companies or entities that We do not own or control, or to individuals that We do not employ or manage.

We shall not be responsible for any breach of security or disclosure of personal data for reasons outside Our control, such as hacking, social engineering, or cyber-attacks by third parties.

Most mobile platforms, such as iOS and Android, define certain types of device data that apps cannot access without your consent, and use different systems for obtaining that consent. iOS will prompt you the first time the Mobile Application requests access to certain data. Android will notify you of the permissions the app seeks before you first install or use it, and your continued use of the app constitutes your consent.

We collect information about you when you use Our Services and through other interactions and communications you have with Us, as well as information you provide directly, such as when you create or modify your Account, request Services, contact customer support, participate in contests or surveys, or fill in a contact form. This may include your name, email, phone number, postal address, profile picture, and other information you choose to provide.

Personal information

Information such as your email address, name, username, mobile phone number, location, date of birth, and gender identity, collected when you create a free Account. When you complete your profile, you may share additional information such as favourite sports, venue and event interests, and photos. You may use a social media or Google login to create and log into your Playmates Account, which allows you to share some information from that account with Us.

Photos and Videos

Your photograph may be taken (individually or in a group with other Users), or audio-video recorded, during a session or event at a venue booked through Our Platform. Such Photos and Videos may be captured by venue/centre managers or any individual authorised by Playmates or the venue manager, in accordance with Our Terms and Conditions.

Financial information

If you transact with Us, Our venue partners, or entities engaged by Us to provide financial services, We collect billing address, card details, and other payment instrument and transaction information.

Location information

When you use the Services and permit location access through your device's permission system, We collect the precise location of your device. We may also derive your approximate location from your IP address.

Transaction information

Details of the Services you request, including type, date, time, amount charged, and related transaction details. If someone uses your promo code, We may associate your name with that person.

Device information

Information about your mobile device, such as hardware model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, advertising identifiers, and mobile network information.

Log information

Server logs including IP address, access dates and times, pages or features viewed, app crashes, browser type, and the third-party site or service you were using before interacting with Our Services.

Playmates does not endorse and assumes no responsibility for such third-party sites, materials, products, or services. If you access a third-party website or service from the Platform, you do so at your own risk, and this Privacy Policy does not apply to your use of such sites.

Your dealings with advertisers or third-party partners found on the Platform, including payment and delivery of goods or services, are solely between you and such parties. Playmates is not responsible for any loss or damage relating to your dealings with them.

We may combine information We receive from third parties (for example, a payment provider or social media service you choose to link to your Account) with information We collect through Our Primary Services.

With venue and event partners

Any comments, reviews, or content you post in public sections of the Platform become published content and are publicly accessible.
